Dental Camp at Om Bridhaasharam
On September 04, 2021, an open blood donation camp was jointly organized by Rotary Club of Mount Everest Lalitpur, Rotary International District 3292 Nepal-Bhutan and Swavalamban Multipurpose Cooperative Limited at Sanigaun, Latipur.
The camp was organized on the occasion of the 8th anniversary of Swavalamban Multipurpose Cooperative Limited. To celebrate this special occasion, a blood donation camp was decided to be held, considering that the hospital patients are facing a shortage of blood during this ongoing Covid-19 crisis.
The camp started at 11 AM and went on until 2 PM on Saturday, September 04. About 50 people showed up at the venue in Sanigaun, Lalitpur to donate blood but only about 21 people were eligible to donate.
The medical and technical assistance for the blood donation camp was provided by Nepal Red Cross Society. They screened and selected the blood donors, took their blood and safely stored the blood for transporting it to the hospital. They provided a tremendous support to our camp and made the event successful.
Two certificates were provided to the donors after their successful collection. One certificate was from Nepal Red Cross Society and another was jointly from Rotary Club of Mount Everest Lalitpur, Rotary International District 3292 Nepal-Bhutan and Swavalamban Multipurpose Cooperative Limited.
